BARGAIN BOX uses your postal and e-mail address to dispatch goods, send verification of your order and communicate any additional order information with you. We do not share address or other contact information. See our Privacy Notice for details.

Shipping and Delivery

We aim to process most orders on the same or next business day. Delivery times will vary with destination, delivery method and are always subject to availability. There may be occasions where warehouse stock is delayed or on temporary backorder, this is not always know in advance and may delay our ability to ship your goods immediately. If we are experiencing or anticipate extended delays, we shall attempt to contact you and keep you informed. We would expect most normal domestic Australian deliveries to arrive within 7-12 business days of your order being processed. International deliveries will likely take longer.

Please Note: although we attempt to hold sufficient stock levels to fulfil the needs of all our customers, there may be occasions where supply issues are beyond our control. In this event, we may, at our discretion, substitute a similar item and/or contact you to outline the situation, expected delivery time and to discuss available options where appropriate. Should Stock be temporarily unavailable, we shall endeavour as best we can, to dispatch Your order as soon as we are re-supplied. In the event that we are unable to fulfill Your order due to Stock being permanently unavailable or withdrawn from inventory, we shall issue a Store Credit, Alternative Item/s, or a Refund. 

Customers give authority for their order to be left unattended at their delivery address. BARGAIN BOX will only replace orders providing the order is proved lost in transit by our delivery company.

Certain factors such as order size, weight and shipping address may require us to ship via a variety of methods. BARGAIN BOX reserves the right to change your shipping method. Tracking is not available in all circumstances.

The delivery times provided by BARGAIN BOX are estimates only. BARGAIN BOX will not be held accountable for late deliveries or loss or damage relating to late deliveries.

In the event that multiple items are ordered, part deliveries may be made where stock is not available. All reasonable attempts will be made to notify you using the details you provided. By agreeing to our terms and conditions you acknowledge all information set forth under our Terms of Use Agreement.

The special instructions comment box on the delivery page of the checkout is to be used for any instructions to help the driver make delivery of your order (e.g. "Look for Blue Door", "During Office hours "). Drivers are unable to grant specific requests such as "Leave on front deck under cushion". BARGAIN BOX cannot be held responsible if your instructions are not followed.

Change of Address

The shipping address for your order is shown in the checkout and on your order confirmation and shipping confirmation emails. In the event that an incorrect address was entered, address changes can only be made up until the order begins processing. BARGAIN BOX cannot accommodate all address change requests.

BARGAIN BOX takes no responsibility for orders shipped to an incorrect or invalid address and is not liable for any loss associated.

Where you fail to communicate changes, or delivery cannot be made due to you not being available to receive, respond or advise us and/or our delivery agents by phone or email, we may need to recover fees associated with non-deliverable items. Where several failed attempts are made to contact and/or make delivery, we may cancel your order and refund you, less a restocking fee, in addition to non-delivery charges.

Changing or Cancelling Orders

If notified before goods have been dispatched, BARGAIN BOX may, at their sole discretion, accommodate order cancellations. Should Stock be temporarily unavailable, we shall endeavour as best we can, to dispatch Your order as soon as we are re-supplied. In the event that we are unable to fulfill Your order due to Stock being permanently unavailable or withdrawn from inventory, we shall issue a Full Refund and advise you. If items have been shipped, BARGAIN BOX reserves the right to refuse order cancellation or charge a cancellation fee should we be able to arrange the return of the package from our delivery service.

If you cancel an online order before we have packed and shipped your items to you, we will issue a refund after deducting online payment processing charges and any reasonable costs of packaging when the order has already been made up ready for dispatch.

If you cancel an online order after we have shipped your items to you, the cancellation may still be valid provided you contact us first and when agreed to by us, send back to us the ordered items and we receive the items in their original undamaged condition. We will issue a refund after deducting online payment processing charges and shipping costs for having shipped the items to you.

Where items are clearly identified as being for Australian Delivery ONLY, or that specify and require you to contact us to discuss Freight arrangements prior to ordering, and you fail to do so, we may charge a fee to recover costs for administration and any other associated costs necessary to cancel, refund and/or halt further processing.

We may also charge a restocking fee not exceeding 20% of the value of the order, plus freight costs, at our discretion.

For International Orders, All Sales are to be considered Final

While we always try to understand the issues and faults with your machine to the best of our ability, remote diagnosis is not always practical or accurate to make a definitive assessment at distance. It is your responsibility to determine what you require prior to purchase. We recommend evaluation and confirmation of the problem/s by your local Service Technician, who can look at the machine and test it on the bench to ascertain appropriate remedial action.
Due to their nature, we cannot accept returns of certain goods, including Electronic Spares or Replacement Parts, Software, Downloadables, Electronic and PDF Files, or Cut items (e.g. Fabric, Lace, Elastic)

Consumer guarantees do not apply if you:

  • got what you asked for but simply changed your mind, found it cheaper somewhere else, decided you did not like the purchase or had no use for it
  • misused a product in any way that caused the problem
  • knew of or were made aware of the faults before you bought the product
  • asked for a service to be done in a certain way against the advice of the business or were unclear about what you wanted

Defective Items or Damaged Goods

Please contact us as soon as is practicable after delivery, stating when the delivery arrived and quoting all relevant document numbers. We will then be able to help you resolve the problem, provide you with any warranty information or assist with the replacement or refund of your product. It will also be useful for you to provide us with digital images of any damage, including damage to packaging.

Do Not Return Products without First Contacting Us

IMPORTANT: If you receive goods damaged during transit, it is essential that you keep all damaged packaging for inspection and you must contact us immediately.

Insurance may only be valid if all the packaging is kept for inspection. Without this evidence, there can be no proof that your parcel was damaged in transit.

Please inspect your package as soon as you receive it. DO NOT sign for or accept Goods that are obviously damaged when they arrive.

If you notice any damage, contact us to report the damage immediately. Photographs are also a good idea.

DO NOT use the goods.

If your goods arrive damaged, contact us immediately. In this case, keep all packaging (boxes, shipping labels, packing material, etc.), as the shipper may need to inspect the package. We must receive notification of your concerns within 3 days of you receiving your order.

DO NOT just return the merchandise without first contacting us, as we will not be able to accept the return.

Repairs are generally carried out by the manufacturer and not by BARGAIN BOX. Where faulty items cannot be repaired a replacement, store credit or refund will be offered. BARGAIN BOX cannot control the availability of parts of replacement goods.

BARGAIN BOX has no control over manufacturer warranty periods, nor repair time-frames and cannot advise what they will be. We will do everything we can to ensure your faulty item is handled as quickly as possible and that you are informed throughout the process. In cases where you have returned goods directly to the manufacturer, BARGAIN BOX cannot be held accountable for repair periods or communication from the manufacturer and you are advised to liaise direct with the manufacturer.

We aim to have your return processed within 24 hours of receiving the item. Some faults must be assessed and approved by the manufacturer before a refund or replacement can be issued. This process may take 2-4 weeks and once completed you should receive your refund or replacement within 1-3 business days.

Gift cards and promotional codes cannot be applied to exchanges. Returns must be made within the timeframe listed on the returns page unless faulty. Size exchange requests are subject to availability of stock. Should your size request be unavailable a refund will be provided.

Items should be repacked in original packaging with any and all accessories and your original invoice/return form. We advise you to keep a copy of all documents for your own records.

All returned merchandise must be in original, saleable condition, with all original packaging and must include the original documentation.

Please ensure that you re-pack the returning goods securely; we are not able to offer refunds for goods that are damaged in return transit.

Returns sent without original documentation will not be accepted.

Merchandise that shows signs of use, wear, alteration, laundering or contamination by smoke or animals, will not be accepted.

When your return is received, in original, saleable condition, we will issue a replacement, offer a store credit for future purchases, or you may prefer a refund of your original purchase price by the same method that your payment was made.

If the return is a result of an error on our part, you will also be refunded return shipping costs.

Upon receipt of your return, it may take 10-15 business days for Bank and Payment Gateway providers to process your return and credit your account. The credit will be processed against your original form of payment. We will notify you via e-mail once your return has been processed.

BARGAIN BOX cannot be held responsible for missing goods if an incorrect delivery address was given at the time of your order.

To ensure that your parcel is delivered safely, please check your postal address details carefully before you confirm your order.

Any items returned outside of the return period (unless faulty) or items returned damaged or soiled (unless faulty) will be the responsibility of the customer to retrieve. BARGAIN BOX will not pay to return these items to you.

Rights and Obligations

BARGAIN BOX will endeavour to operate in compliance with guidelines laid down by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC). If you would like any further information about your consumer rights, please visit the ACCC website (accc.gov.au)

In summary, when we sell goods we must make certain that they fulfil certain conditions and warranties which are implied under the Trade Practices Act. We must be sure those goods:

• are of merchantable quality—that is, goods need to reach a basic level of quality given the price of the goods and any description that is provided with the goods

• are fit for the purpose or job that the consumer made known to us or that are self-evident

• match any description or sample given to the consumer whether in promotional material, over the phone, in person, on a website or on labelling or packaging

• are free from defects and faults, unless the consumer had a defect drawn to their attention before they purchased goods, for example, when goods are clearly labelled as seconds or faulty

• are clear of finance or encumbrances not disclosed to the consumer so that the consumer can have free title to the goods

If the goods sold do not fulfil any of these conditions then the consumer may be entitled to a refund on return of the goods. If the goods have been partially consumed the consumer may be entitled to a refund depending on the circumstances and the extent to which the goods have been consumed.

Consumers can choose an alternative remedy to a refund. In these circumstances we may want to offer an exchange, a credit note or to repair the goods.

If the goods being returned have had a fair amount of use then we may provide a partial refund only or repair the product instead. This will depend on the circumstances of the sale and return and if the use of the goods has affected the fault.

We have the right to ask for proof of purchase from the consumer, for example, a receipt or credit record.

All prices are charged in Australian Dollars ($AUD). Prices are subject to change without notice. There may be additional local duties and taxes added to your package by the destination country. You will be responsible for these upon collection or delivery and they are not included in your order total. Any and All Non-Australian currency figures that may, from time to time, be quoted in correspondence or on the website, are only approximations based on available rates from Third Party FOREX Calculator sites such as xe.com, They are presented as general information only and neither constitute nor represent any offer. You are advised to contact your own Bank or Financial institution for their current rates of exchange as the nature of the market is dynamic and can, at times, be volatile.

International Customs Charges

Some orders may incur a customs or import duty charge. BARGAIN BOX do not have any control over these charges or are unable to advise what they will be, as it is based on your own country’s regulations & compliances. For further information, please contact your local customs office.

All charges are to be paid by the customer on delivery of order. Orders cannot be returned to sender and BARGAIN BOX will never pay customs charges on your behalf. If you refuse to pay these charges your parcel may be abandoned. BARGAIN BOX will not be held responsible for any loss of funds as a result of this occurrence. We will not mark International orders as a gift in order to bypass or reduce any customs fees. This practice is illegal, and as registered and compliant Australian business we will not do this.
